Many people who create products claim to make a difference in people's lives – but the products really only affect lifestyle.

For example, an iPod is way cool, but it differs from my 80's Walkman only by degree.

Medical Doctors who are inventors can create things that fundamentally change lives or -- that SAVE LIVES!

Now, that's cool and

really makes a difference!!

Think about it, as Cardiothoracic Surgeons you encounter unique observational experiences in the operating room, which can provide a wellspring of innovative ideas.

Why not expand, mold and then develop these ideas into medical devices that fundamentally change lives or that save lives.

That would be cool -- and would really make a difference.

You get to make a choice. You can remake that choice every day, in fact. It's never too late to choose optimism, to choose action, to choose excellence. The best thing is that it only takes a moment -- just one second -- to decide.

Before you finish this paragraph, you have the power to change everything that's to come. And you can do that by asking yourself the one question that every organization and every individual needs to ask today: Why not be great?

This blog will help you be great and do amazing things -- specifically it will motivate and inspire you to invent the next great life saving or quality of life improving Medical Device.

I believe that Medical Doctors make the very best inventors. I will explain why in coming posts.

I also believe that Medical Doctors - like you - should make every effort possible to invent Medical Devices.

You should do this to Make a Difference in the world and Make Dollars for yourselves and others.
